Infectious Disease Control in the Workplace

Did that guy next to you just sneeze into the controls? Did you remember to wash your hands before you ate? Did you come into work despite having a fever? These are all things that contribute to illness in the workplace.

Here are two documents that help to identify ways of reducing the spread of disease at the mill and in your homes. The first one discusses good programs for the mills to implement. The second one is a handy checklist of actions that can prevent or reduce the spread of infectious disease.

Industry Benchmarking Survey
Based on member feedback, we will conduct the Profile Study every two years, instead of annually, because product properties are not expected to change significantly in one year. The next Profile Study will be initiated this December for first-quarter ’25 sampling. All past Survey reports can be accessed at this member-only page.

Based on member polling, the RPTA Operating Board will be organizing educational events for the next year on these topic categories:

  5. Grades and quality of recovered fiber
