All grades are multi-ply and contain no less than 90% recycled fiber.
Coated Folding Carton:
Coated Folding Carton, oftentimes referred to as cardboard, is typically coated on one side to improve the quality of graphics. This type of board is used for shelf-displayed consumer packaging like cereal, cracker, and toothpaste boxes as well as other boxed household items.
Containerboard:
Containerboard typically falls into two grades of board. Linerboard is a grade used for the outside or inside flat surface of a corrugated box. Medium is the grade that is fluted and used between the linerboard layers to add strength to the box.
Shipping boxes and displays are examples of this type of board.
Gypsum and Building Grades:
Gypsum paper is used as the outer ply of wallboard or drywall used in construction.
Partition and Plain Grades:
These products are primarily used for separating and supporting of a variety of manufactured items. Examples of these are dividers in beverage packaging, tablet backs, as well as hardware and construction material cartons such as nail boxes.
Specialties:
This category includes a wide range of board grades. Mat board is used for framing pictures, book board is the stiff board used for hardcover books, absorbent board is use in manufactured surfaces such as countertops, gaskets are used in mechanical applications, and automotive board is used in car doors.
Tube and Core:
These grades are used for support of other paper product packaging. Examples range from the center core of toilet paper and paper towels to heavy walled cores for wound paper products. Other uses range from convolute board used on wire hangers to large diameter heavy walled tubes for construction forms.
